I hope everyone had a good week.  Work began on all phases of project this week.  Below is a breakdown of work performed this week, and a preview of the work proposed for next week for each individual phase.

Phase 1 - Jefferson Road and Heritage Drive
Removals crews were on-site mid-week to begin sawing concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and driveway aprons that are scheduled for removal and replacement.  In addition, tree removal crews were on-site later in the week to perform the tree removals on all of Phase 1.  As a reminder, as discussed at the neighborhood meetings, crews will be removing all Ash trees with a diameter breast height (DBH) of 13" or under, and any other trees that were scored by a licensed arborist having a condition rating of 3 or less on a 0-9 condition rating scale.  In addition, there are a few trees slated for removal due to the construction project as well.

Next week, removal crews will begin removing concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and driveway aprons on Phase 1.  Concrete crews are also scheduled to be on-site late in the week to begin pouring the replacement sidewalks, curbs and gutters and driveway aprons.  Please be on the lookout for notices left at your front door for important information on driveway access closures or construction operations that will specifically affect your property.

Phase 2 - Seventh Street and Eighth Street
Removals crews were on-site mid-week to begin sawing concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and driveway aprons that are scheduled for removal and replacement.  In addition, tree removal crews were on-site later in the week to perform the tree removals on all of Phase 2.  As a reminder, as discussed at the neighborhood meetings, crews will be removing all Ash trees with a diameter breast height (DBH) of 13" or under, and any other trees that were scored by a licensed arborist having a condition rating of 3 or less on a 0-9 condition rating.   In addition, there are a few trees slated for removal due to the construction project as well.
