The Northfield Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and Three Rivers Community Action have assembled financing for the purpose of making home improvements that will stabilize the neighborhood, increase energy efficiency, address health and safety concerns and/or add alternative energy components. The program will provide qualified applicants with grant funds matching the homeowner’s contribution $2 for every $1 spent by the homeowner, with a total maximum grant to the homeowner of $10,000. No-interest loan funds of up to $5,000 are also available through the program and can be counted as borrower’s contribution. Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis to homeowners who meet ALL program guidelines.
