On-site solar for electricity generation is an important part of Northfield’s Climate Action Plan. The City is taking steps to understand the on-site solar capacity for our own properties and the community at large. We worked with paleBLUEdot to develop a report for solar opportunities in Northfield.

Bulk solar purchases
We are working to bring a community bulk solar purchase campaign to the community as well as moving forward with proposals for on-site solar for our own properties.
