Planning & Zoning
The City of Northfield's Planning Division controls the growth and development of the community by administering land use regulations outlined in various guiding documents and as stated in the Northfield City Code. The division coordinates the application process for zoning changes, special-use permits, annexations, right-of-way exemptions and easements. Division staff provides support to the Heritage Preservation Commission, Planning Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals.
