Application Process

The City of Northfield accepts applications for open positions only. The City has a policy which requires the return of unsolicited resumes and written correspondence. Applications can be downloaded from the Employment section of the City’s web site or requested/picked up from the Human Resources Department.

Applicants must complete all forms required. The completed application package must be returned by mail, fax or in person. E-mailed applications are not accepted. Applications, forms and addenda must be received by the Human Resources Department on or before the closing date and time listed. Incomplete applications and applications received after the posted deadline will not be considered.

Resumes may be included with the application materials, but will not be accepted in lieu of a completed City of Northfield application.
