Transit

Northfield Transit is a convenient, safe and friendly transportation service provided by the City of Northfield. Northfield Transit offers curb-to-curb rides within the city limits, Monday-Saturday.

Route Deviation is Here!

The City of Northfield has moved to a route deviation system as of January 3, 2012. Riders may board or leave the bus at any of the scheduled stops of the two routes. Those with disabilities that make it difficult to walk to the bus stops may request that the bus deviate from the route for a pick-up or drop-off. Dial-a-Ride service is still available, but on a more limited schedule. Learn more about the new route system and print out the route map using the links below:Minor changes are expected over the coming months as we go through this major transition to bus service in the community. We appreciate the patience of our current riders through this period of adjustment and we welcome new riders who are now able utilize Northfield Transit!

The changes to the transit system involved significant public input, including input on the final route maps collected throughout December 2011. See the project website for details.
